Marrakech – High Atlas – Aït Ben Haddou – Ouarzazate – Dades Valley
After breakfast, your journey to the Sahara begins. You will cross the spectacular High Atlas Mountains via the famous Tizi n’Tichka Pass at 2,260 meters, enjoying breathtaking panoramic views and traditional Berber villages. Along the way, you may visit a local Argan oil cooperative.
Next, you will explore the legendary Aït Benhaddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and filming location for movies such as Gladiator and Lawrence of Arabia. Continuing to Ouarzazate, often called the Hollywood of Africa, you may visit the Atlas Studios and the historic Taourirt Kasbah.

Passing through Erfoud, known for its fossils, you finally reach Merzouga at the edge of the magnificent Erg Chebbi dunes.
