After soaking in the coastal views, the journey continues to Rabat, Morocco’s capital, where you explore the charming blue-and-white streets of the Kasbah of the Udayas. By late afternoon, you arrive in Meknes, one of the four imperial cities, where history and grandeur set the tone for the days ahead.

Midelt – Ziz Valley – Merzouga

Today, the landscape becomes dramatic and cinematic as you travel through the breathtaking Ziz Valley, a ribbon of palm groves cutting through red rock canyons. By afternoon, you reach Merzouga, gateway to the Sahara. As the sun softens, you ride camels into the towering dunes of Erg Chebbi. The night unfolds in a traditional desert camp with Berber cuisine, music, and a sky filled with stars.

Day 4

Full Sahara Desert Experience

Wake before dawn to witness a magical Sahara sunrise — a moment of silence and golden light you will never forget. After returning to Merzouga, the day continues with a full desert immersion.

A 4×4 excursion takes you around the dunes to meet nomadic families, explore fossil plains, and visit the village of Khamlia, where the rhythms of Gnawa music echo through the desert air. This extra night in the Sahara allows you to truly slow down and absorb the spirit of the desert.

Merzouga – Todra Gorges – Dadès Valley

Leaving the dunes behind, your journey heads west toward the spectacular Todra Gorge, where dramatic canyon walls rise high above a crystal-clear river.
